Description

Klepper Iron Foundry (Kentucky) Victorian / Eastlake cast iron aquarium on stand, marked on the underside of the aquarium "C.F. Klepper, Cov. KY, Pat. Feb. 21 '82." Retains the original black paint. 37 1/2" H x 26 1/2" W x 16 1/2" D. Late 19th century.

Condition

Overall very good condition with some oxidation to the metal, especially to the base and interior of the aquarium. Note: The aquarium most likely originally had eagle finials on the four corners and additional arms on the base to hold plants.
