Description
Assorted Chinese Export porcelain including Canton and Fitzhugh. Eight (8) items in the Canton pattern including 2 hot water plates (10-1/2" X 9"), 1 large square shaped bowl (4" H x 9-3/4" sq.), 2 covered square dishes, 1 square dish (missing top), 1 round dish (missing top) and 1 oval covered dish. Also includes 1 oval covered dish w/ handles in the Fitzhugh pattern with fruit finial (12-1/2" W x 9" D x 5-1/2" H). 9 items total. Provenance: Estate of Bill Selden, Athens, TN.
Condition
Most items with old repairs including old staples and some cracks and small chips. The Fitzhugh dish has overpainting on approximately one-half of the base which indicates extensive repair and restoration.
