Pair of Victorian Gilt Bronze Girandole Candleholders. Daniel Boone Pattern. Two Piece Gilt Bronze Girandole Garniture Set with snowflake prisms. Depicting figures from James Fenimore Cooper's Leather Stocking Tales and Commonly Associated with Daniel Boone. The Flanking Girandoles feature an Osage Indian Chief holding a spear, modeled after a Catlin portrait print. Approx patent date. December 5, 1848. Condition: Over all very good condition with expected wear to gilt and prisms. Missing center girandole. Girandoles measure 16" H x 6-1/2" W x 4-1/2" D.
