Oil on masonite, Cubist influenced genre scene depicting a woman in collared dress sitting with her elbow resting on another chair. Beside it sits a table with bouquet of flowers; a wall with paintings and mirrors, a screen and a geometrically patterned drape fill the background. A pale painted shadow covers the left side of the painting. Signed Rizzo, lower right (possibly Pippo Rizzo, Italian/Sicilian, 1898-1964). Later carved and molded frame with matte gilt speckled surface and linen liner. 19" x 15-1/2" sight, 28" x 24" framed.

A couple of possible abrasions to upper right corner, overall very good condition.
