Grouping of five (5) Southern stoneware pottery forms, four forms attributed to Tennessee. 1st item - Southern stoneware jar with impressed "3" denoting capacity mark, having one lug handle and one strap handle, cobalt band around shoulder, attributed to Joseph D. "Jug" Johnson, Lanford Station, Laurens County, South Carolina. 15"H. Early 20th century. 2nd item - Greene Co. stoneware churn with an incised "4" denoting gallon capacity, Albany slip glaze interior. 16 1/2"H. Late 19th century. 3rd item - Greene Co. stoneware bowl with shaped rim of 5/8" width. 5 1/2"Dia x 3 3/8"H. Late 19th century. 4th item - Middle TN stoneware bowl, found in the Sparta area, incised line around midsection. 6 3/8"Dia x 3 3/4"H. Late 19th/Early 20th century. 5th item - Ovoid stoneware preserving jar, attributed to Greene Co., TN. 10 1/4"H. Late 19th century. Provenance - Yates Estate, Greeneville, Tennessee.

1st item & 2nd items - Overall very good condition. 3rd item - some glaze loss to rim edge and interior. 4th item - overall very good condition. 5th item - missing lid, nicks to inner rim, otherwise very good condition.
