Additional Information & Circa: This poster is the three-sheet version. The consignor purchased the poster when he was 16 years old at the Lakewood Antique Market in Atlanta, Georgia. At the time, the consignor was collecting comics, but when he saw the poster he remembers saying that the big green Frankenstein was "wicked". The lady selling the poster was asking $600. The consignor emptied his pockets and gave her everything he had, which amounted to approximately $500. The poster has hung on his wall for 27 years. The poster was purchased from a lady who's father owned a movie theatre. During the demolishing of a barn on the fathers property, the poster was discovered on the back of one of the boards.
