Item Details

Description

Russian Palekh lacquer chest of drawers. Two door façade with small metal pulls opens to a set of three red lacquer doors with gold foliate detailing. Both the exterior and interior of the doors are decorated with miniature paintings as well as the top and two sides. The back is inscribed in gold and dated 1988. The top is signed. (Approx. 7" x 4 ½" x 3 ½"). From the collection of Eric Sinizer.

Loss to upper right corner and lower left corner and foot.
