Fedoskino Russian lacquer box with a portrait of the Grand Duchess Maria Nikolevna Volkonskaya of Russia. Beautiful oil portrait of the Grand Duchess Maria the third daughter of Tsar Nicholas II and Tsarina Alexandra Fyodorovna. She is depicted seated on a plush velvet chair with various foliage in the background wearing a fine dress adorned with jewels and a tiara. The sides of the box are painted with gold cross hatching pattern. The box is signed and titled. (Approx. 2" x 6 ¼" x 3 ¾"). From the collection of Eric Sinizer.
