Fedoskino Russian lacquer box with portraits of U.S. Naval Officers of the USS Constitution, Charles Stewart, Isaac Hull and William Bainbridge. Full length portraits of Stewart and Bainbridge and a tondo with a bust of Hull. Framed by cream borders and a pale green ground with matching stripe around the edge of the box. The interior is the traditional Fedoskino red with a relief vignette painted on mother of pearl of the boat USS Constitution inscribed in a ribbon banner ‘Frigate ..
