Description

19th C. French marble and bronze dore three-piece Rococo clock and garniture suite. The white marble cartouche form clock case surmounted by a slumbering Cupid with playful putto, and embellished overall with acanthine and garland ormolu. Time and strike movement, the white enamel dial marked “Julien Leroy A Paris”. Together with a pair of candelabra garniture modeled each as a gilt bronze putto bearing a 4-light foliate branch and issuing from a marble column pediment swaged in bronze dore. (Clock: 14 1/2" tall, 16 " wide, candelabra: 23 1/2" tall).

Condition

Back left leg (as you face it) is off. Needs to be glued / epoxied.
