Fine Art Bay/Bineth Gallery to debut online with Contemporary Israeli & American art, prints and Judaica
Aug. 18, 2004
TEL-AVIV – One of Israel’s most prestigious art galleries, Fine Art Bay/Bineth Gallery, will hold its first-ever online auction through LiveAuctioneers.com on Sunday, Aug. 29.
The 35-year-old gallery, based in Tel-Aviv, specializes in Israeli art and also sells American contemporary art and Judaica. The company offers paintings by both renowned Israeli artists and young emerging artists such as Jan Rauchwerger, who recently exhibited his work at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem and will soon open a one-man show at the Tretiakov Gallery in Moscow.
All prints sold by Fine Art Bay/Bineth Gallery are original works of art, signed and numbered by the artists. Because they are also publishers, Fine Art Bay/Bineth are able to keep their prices low, and charge only a 10 percent buyer’s premium.
“We are willing to share our experience with customers,” a company spokesman said. “Any question regarding the items offered, or the artists represented, will be answered by telephone, fax or email (fineartbay@binethgallery.com). Handling and shipping of sold items is done by experts, and we will combine shipments and always try to reduce rates as much as possible.”
LiveAuctioneers welcomes Fine Art Bay/Bineth Gallery to its growing roster of top worldwide auction houses and galleries.
