Dec. 21, 2004

OKLAHOMA CITY - A rare 1900 glass Hilda Clark Coca-Cola change receiver is one of the star lots in Livingston’s Estate Services auction in Oklahoma City on Jan.2.

The change receiver, which displays the image of a great beauty of the turn of the 19th century, Hilda Clark, is rare and very much in demand to collectors of Coca-Cola and soft drink advertising in general.

“This is an exceptional sale from fine Oklahoma estates,” said Lynn Livingston, “with everything from a 1763 Sèvres jardiniere to a Horner winged griffin desk.” Other highlights include a Russian bronze, Peruvian sterling tea service, Herman Miller Eames chair and important Civil War memorabilia.

“I frequently find that Oklahoma estates exhibit a variety of tastes and represent a unique blend of cultures,” Livingston said. “This auction will be of interest to a vast diversity of collectors.
