Collectors count the minutes till Mark of Time’s Nov. 20-21 clock sale

Mark of Time is proud to present the collection of the late John Darrow, formerly of Murrysville, Pa., in a two-day sale taking place Nov. 20-21. This important collection of more than 600 rare, fresh to market clocks has been ordered to be sold at auction, unreserved. The collection includes a wide variety of rare American and European antique clocks of nearly every description.
Included in the massive inventory are large floor and wall regulators, Vienna regulators, English wall clocks and many other unusual regulator types; as well as large gallery clocks and many tall clocks.
Also to be sold are hundreds of early American mantel and shelf clocks, various triple deckers, and many American shelf clocks with rare movementsm including fusee, spring, weight driven, and others. The clocks are cased in various woods, brass, bronze, iron, spelter figural, marble, china, porcelain, delft, glass and more. Many Royal Bonn and other china clocks plus ship's and gallery clocks round out the sale.
Session one begins promptly at 4 p.m., Eastern time, on Saturday, Nov. 20; and 12 noon, Eastern time, on Sunday, Nov. 21.
