Secure Bidder Network
LiveAuctioneers' Secure Bidder Network (SBN) ensures that a person’s absentee bid is kept secure and completely private until it is dispatched on auction day.
How it works: When the LiveAuctioneers seller's applet is opened at the commencement of an auction, an absentee bid lodged through LiveAuctioneers' SBN is received by the auction house and seen for the first time. Up to this point, bids are stored, safely and securely, until the applet is opened. Absentee bidders using SBN can be confident in the knowledge that they have total anonymity in the run-up to an auction.
LiveAuctionneers' SBN gives absentee bidders that extra "competitive edge” by keeping bids both anonymous and private as they await the right moment to be executed during an auction.
