Very unhappy customer. I had won lot 0090 was sent an email confirmation to that effect. I went to pick up the items I won and the calcite crystals with pyrite crystals was apparently sold to someone else. After I picked up the items I won I was sent an email that I picked up said item. The auction house was apologetic but this sort of thing should not be happening. I am always Leary buying items online and this has fortified that fact. I would have to say that I will try to circumvent using live auctioneers from here on in. Thank you. Frank . **********

Shipping and buyers premium were to high!

Their shipping charges are totally out of line and boarderline criminal! I own an auction house also and totally understand handling charges and I am always willing to pay them but $60 to ship 20 catalogs that will easily fit in a $12 priority box is totally out of line! Not to mention the highest Internet buyer premium I have ever paid. Consider me a former customer!

Starting bids were high, which kept me from bidding on almost all items. Shipping is always overpriced from online auction houses but this packaged was so extremely over-packaged that it was obvious they were trying to boost the weight. I had purchased paper items which are shipped from dedicated literature businesses with just a Kraft envelope and a piece of corrugated cardboard on each side. These specific items were in a cardboard box inside another cardboard box with cardboard bumpers filling the space between the two boxes. The brochures themselves had several sheets of cardboard on either side and were wrapped in foam sheeting. The items were worth a few hundred dollars but were not breakable. One cardboard box and a plastic grocery bag to keep them together would have been more than sufficient. I would not participate in another of Nest Egg's auctions.

Took 2 days after the auction before the invoice was generated. It is nice the auction house offers in house shipping, but the shipping charges were almost double what the UPS Store charged and they included a fee for picking up the item.

I left a max bid of $225 with Live Auctioneers and watched the auction live. The asking opening bid was $50 and all the bidding that showed that showed live was the $50 and my $225. NO underbidders at all. Shady!!!

I still don't have invoice from the auction and they without any communication opened dispute. It is very unprofessional.

It was my first experience with this particular auction house. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. I am very pleased.

I have been fully satisfied as they answered me very quickly about shipping companies. All the process, biding, purchase, payment and shipping was perfect and easy. Gerard
