Descriptions are not accurate for items being auctioned.
Beware! Items being auctioned are not what they appear. My Hermes scarves had no copyright stamp, hems were pressed, spots galore etc. Never again will I purchase anything from this auction house. Lesson learned ☹ ️

Hello Pamela, We are sorry you are not happy with the scarves you won at auction. We do our best to note damages when seen, and tried to be forthcoming in regard to the stains, we cataloged the condition online as " Tigre "with minor stains;" Paridaiza "with minor stains and dirt." Slow Shipping
While I had no problem with the auction house, their preferred UPS shipper was very slow in packing and shipping my lot. I buy from more than 50 auction houses annually with the majority of my purchases shipped by UPS Stores. Almost weeks from payment to them (UPS Store) to receipt of my package the the worst I have experienced with any UPS outlet across the country. I contacted them about ten days ago for an update on my lot and only received a generic reply that I would receive a tracking number once sent. Honestly, you don’t think I would already know that?? I Recommend Roland find another more responsive UPS Store to do business with in the future.

just a wonderful place
I've purchased several items from Roland. The staff is so lovely when my dog and I arrive to pick up. Someone always helps me load my car. This last visit, Jason very kindly packed my sconces in a box with tissue paper and carried it to my car. Truly a great place.

Roland Auction was very helpful!
Their communication was great, but the best thing was that I got a lift from the train station with a couple of Roland Auction employees. I was able to pay for my item, get it packed up, and call for a cab in time to get the next train back home. The pickup couldn't have gone better!

Auction house with no in-house shipping!!!
Because you have to use commercial shippers the cost is exorbitant. A recent winning bid of 75 $totaled over 200 $when buyer’s premium tax and shipping are added on. In future if the auction house does not offer shipping I’ll pass.

Had a very disappointing experience. Won't return calls. Buyer beware.
All I can say is I am disappointed with Roland Auctioneers all around. Based on my experience, their staff was not empowered to answer much in the way of customer questions. After many calls, their staff said that they left messages for the owner to return my call. Those calls have gone unanswered. The attitude toward me was buyer beware and I should have not bid in the first place. When I unpacked the items, my heart sank even further as 14 of the 18 pieces I purchased had substantial damage far worse than I anticipated. Much more so than their 14 photos and disclaimer. Maybe it's a hard lesson learned and the customer isn't always right. But they will have an unhappy one for life.

We did our best to describe the damages as they were, stating "Some missing lids, some with cracks or breaks, losses, residue."
