Love my Georg Jensen Acorn serrving pieces.

Great 1st experience with Roland NY
Extremely well packed and protected! I have purchased oil paintings from around the world but never a lamp and was concerned about the metal tole being damaged. Roland NY went above and beyond to protect it without asking. Very professional. Thank you!

Item is not as described: They advertised the vase as being 9 "but was actually 7" which has less value; also advertised said a crack but it was many cracks over 2 areas. I do not feel it is worth the bid I put in, based on the description. I would have worked with them for a partial refund or a full return. Emailed my concerns but have had no reply to my email.

At the mercy of shippers.
While the items were, for the most part as shown, with decent pictures, there seems to be a big problem with shipping. More and more auction houses are passing their shipping of to third party shippers who don't seem to care or have a clue as to what they are doing. It is approximately an hour round trip from the Park Mail store to the auction house. For this I was charged $100.00. Then there was packing labor of $10.00 for putting eleven necklaces in one bag, so they could rub against each other, and fifteen in another bag so they could become hopelessly tangled with each other. The value of these necklaces was over $1600.00 so we are not talking cheep costume jewelry. Then Pak Mail ignored my request to send it Priority Mail and sent it Priority Mail INTERNATIONAL at double the cost of regular Priority $$147.74. To top it all off they sent it to the wrong address. When you are paying 28 % buyer fee on top of this outrageous shipping expense it adds up quickly. I doubt I will buy from this auction house again due to the high buyers premium and the ridiculous postal costs.

Auction House Not Helpful
The Auction House informed me that my items were sent to a storage facility for pick up. I worked with the storage house to arrange a pick up at their Easton, PA location. The address was a vacant unmarked store front in a strip mall, the storage house did not answer call at arranged pick up time. I called the Auction House about this and they were very unhelpful and did not seem to care that the company they partner with is unprofessional and does not have a physical location. Eventually the storage house said they aren’t actually at that address and use a loading dock in the back. This was never communicated in the email back and forth. I was having my sister pick this item up and wasn’t about to send her into a vacant store front or to an unmarked loading dock. As the auction house partners with this storage house I asked for a refund of the $30ish purchase price but they refused. The auction house has its money and the storage facility has the item. Very unprofessional all around.

Regarding the pick up at the storage facility, we did acknowledge we understood that you were uncomfortable with the pick up location and having your sister go on your behalf, and therefore suggested numerous additional pick up/shipping options for you to consider, all of which you declined, and stated the shippers should just keep the item. We would have liked for a better resolution to the issue and hope you'll bid with us again in the future. Item descriptions are misleading
The online auction process is very flawed because the item is never properly stated. Quality of items are always exaggerated and seldom meet expectations.
