Price Gouging Third Party Shippers
I bought a set of 10 wine glasses and got outrageous shipping quotes ranging from $175 to $200 from their recommended third party shippers. When I complained to the auction house Sean Abell stepped in and got my glasses packed and shipped for less than half the third party quotes. The Abell's are good guys. Third party shippers not so much.

Auction House is very professional and has great items for sale. Bid with confidence!
Beautiful item, as described. My only complaint was the delivery person who was surly and unpleasant. I'll write it off to stress delivery people are experiencing during CoVid. That said, he could have been more cooperative.

Abell Auction is a fab auction house to bid with!
I won a beautiful set of china which was in perfect, unused condition and am very, very pleased. UPS Store 2778 is a SUPERB shipper... I've never seen such professional packing in all my years of buying and selling porcelain.

Abell is a Great Auction House
I bought this Bose unit, as expected the CD player did not work (they never do) and bought a new CD player to connect with it, the results are awesome. The unit was better looking in person than the photos, everything went great, I highly recommend Abell's.

Excellent Service
Abell's and Live Auction made the whole auction proctaess easy and fun. One of the people who work at Abell's helped me put my item, which was very heavy, into the my car. Payment and pickup was a very simple process. I was also able to get a short tour by Mr. Abell. Very interesting. Definitely do business with them again.

Best Staff and Best Stuff Ever!
I have been attending Abell Auctions since the mid 1970s. The staff at all levels is wonderful. They always have incredible treasures for every budget. They are knowledgable and tremendously fair. I think I have completely furnished and accessorized at least three homes with their help. Thank goodness they are now available online. While I miss visiting in person, knowing that I can still shop with them is a great comfort in a truly stange time.

Abell is, and has been, one of the most trusted names in Los Angeles as an honest Auction House.
I have both purchased and sold items for over 30 years through Abell. I joke with people saying all the furniture in my house was purchased used... and that is true! Mostly antique furniture, but I've purchased other items, such as china, crystal and even Channel from Abell. So, when people ask "who is your decorator, I say Abell's! It's not only good value, but fun to go to the auction... even on-line! I will say, however, that I've always gone to see things I would consider bidding on, but I'm not a professional that knows values. Now bidding on line has changed everything and I'm not sure you can still get the" best "deals as before because people are. bidding from who knows where. But, I can promise Abell is straight arrow and I think they are a 3rd generation family business.

Bidding at Abell’s for 45 years!
Our house is furnished & decorated in what we call, “Early Abell’s, Middle Abell’s, and Late Abell’s”. Need we say more? There is always interesting things at their auctions. Abell’s is the best!

Wonderful service throughout
My experience bidding with Abell was wonderful throughout the entire process: The young woman who handled my inquiry was thorough and answered timely; the office was polite and accommodating, and the pickup was quick. Can't wait to bid on another of their sales; Abell has to have the best selection of estate property in the Western US!

Customer care genuine and immediate.
When I won a small pair of antique silver salts in July, I couldn't find a shipper willing to pickup and ship them to me in Michigan-the job was too small. Abell's to the rescue! Todd Schireson, the vice president, was kind enough to slip them into a small box and send them to me for pocket change. Such a kind gesture I've never before experienced from any auctioneer, and I've been purchasing from many over several decades. The purchase I made may have been small, but the response to my problem was generous, caring and impressive. Thank you, Abell's! All hats off to you!

I have dealt with this auction house for many years.
I have always found Abell's to be highly professional, and extremely helpful with any questions or concerns. They have made it very easy to buy, and pickup any items I have won. The staff, and management are very friendly, and always looking to make the sales experience a very positive experience. Abell's over 100 years in business is evident in the way they continue to run their business under these very different, and difficult circumstances. I highly recommend this business.

Abells is great, but
I resale and really like the quality and uniqueness of the pieces I can acquire. But the recent increases in commissions 20 % live and 25 % online makes me a more disciplined buyer. Their warehouse crew is very helpful and enjoyable to be around. A very professional and ethical auction house.
