THEY TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER EVEN WHEN THE CUSTOMER DOES NOT DO HIS JOB

I was charged way too much for shipping, that was a very big mistake on my part.

North American. Auction Co. themselves or arranged for a poorly packaged, beautiful, E. J. Uhrenfabrik Westminster Chime clock 'noted as being in good condition and working ’ by placing BOTH the clock’s heavy weighted pendulum and heavy 5-combination-clock-key ‘ unwrapped ’ into ‘ the clock’s body for shipment. When received, without opening a flimsy wrapped box, I could hear the loosely banging objects inside. The results, THE CLOCK DOES NOT WORK. North American. Auction Co. promised a refund needed for repairs but reneged.

I purchased an extremely fragile antique item. I was worried about having it shipped. They did an excellent job of packaging it so that it could not possibly be damaged enroute. It arrived safely and I was very pleased.

NA's process for receiving a firearm is seriously flawed. You get an email form a "shipping wizard" to request shipping. After clicking the link, it says we will be in contact for next steps. then nothing else happens. I emailed the auction house directly 3 times, until somebody got back to me, lecturing me that it was my fault for not sending FFL information. I asked 3 times where I should send my FFL info-never an answer. I have purchased numerous firearms on Live Auctions, and have never had a problem. ALL OTHER auction houses have been responsive and helpful as to where and how I should get them my information. Incredibly frustrating to put so much time and effort into simply getting what I paid for. In the end, I never received my item, and had to dispute the charges to my credit card. Such a bad experience.

I buy a lot (I mean a lot) of items at Auctions. Most of the processes after winning are a pain and often I regret even bidding. On this occasion I found the North American Auction payment easy and quick, followed by smooth shipping process and quick delivery. With some Auction houses I am still waiting to receive the goods from auctions 6 months ago. In short, with this Auction House, I was very pleased. Highly recommended.
