Be careful of shipping policy and prices

Where do I begin? 27 % buyers premium is outragwous. I also drove three hours to pick-up since they utilize 3rd-party shippers that greatly overcharge. The workers couldn't find two of the five lots that I won; I still don't understand how it could be so disorganized. Don't buy model trains from these people!

Auctions on Friday afternoon they the payment first thing on Monday morning, so u have to pay by credit card if bidding thru internet, other Auctions give you time to pay in 💸

I had a VERY good experience doing business with the Quinn's Auction Gallery. I had questions before the live auction, which were promptly answered, and the live auction was easy to access and easy to follow. Once the auction was over, the people from Quinn's Auction Gallery were very helpful with every step that followed (i. e. invoicing me, communication on when and how to pick up my items, and shipping one of my items for me that I was unable to take with me when I showed up at their place of business. The people were VERY friendly, and VERY knowledgeable. Lori, John and Zander were particularly GREAT. I DEFINITELY recommend Quinn's Auction Gallery (andliveauctioneers.com) for anyone that enjoys auctions. They are FANTASTIC. Respectfully, David

Over the past number of years I have bought a number of fine collectible arms from Quinn's and always received excellent service from purchase to receipt of the items.

I have never won an online auction but Lori made it very clear and was very helpful with processing my win! And the item is exactly as described! The shipping part was the most inconvenient and stressful part of the whole transaction. I really wish they did packing and shipping in-house as you HAVE to use a 3rd party to pick up and ship your winnings. Lori recommended Mokha Packing & Shipping and hands down, I appreciate the way they helped me and processed everything! They even let me use my own label after sending the dimensions and weight of the box! The way they packed it securely with care really showed!

Terms state no in house shipping, but be aware it is a lot of leg work to arrange yourself, almost not worth bidding. The UPS Store was good, responsive, but they charge to go to Quinn's to pick up and pack and then ship your item, which for my Lionel ended up being just over $70.

1 lot completely missing and another lot was missing 1 of 2 items.

The ladies doing the train auctions are amazing. They are very knowledgeable about the trains and the photo set for each item is amazing, precluding the need to preview most items. And, they are very customer friendly. Hats off to the train ladies.

This is the first time I've bid in an auction that used a third party shipper. Overall it just made the item barely worth the total cost. By the time you add the buyer's fee, shipper's charge and then postage the true cost of the item is at least twice the actual sale price. If you did not get a killer deal on the item the additions make the original item unaffordable. Yes, I agreed to the terms of the auctions but will not be bidding again with auction houses that use third party shippers.

I won two items a month ago and still haven't shipped. Original shipping quote was $122 which is double what UPS actually charges... well fine so paid. 2 weeks later receive another email stating they had to use a "larger" box so now they want another $54... Stay away from Mokha Packing which is in house and instead have the local UPS Store pick up items and pack then ship.

Good items, good prices, easy pickup.
