Quinn's Auction Galleries is not competent at listing and selling vintage trading cards which are available for internet bidding. Their listing of a 1956 Mickey Mantle card went to the trouble of identifying a couple plainly visible flaws in the card, but did not mention two significant flaws that were difficult to see in the photograph provided. Many auction houses will not list any flaws at all, which lets you know that you are taking a risk. But when the auction house goes to the trouble of identifying specific flaws, but omits flaws that affect value more significantly, then the auction house is either incompetent or intentionally misleading. If Quinn's was unable to see the flaws they did not describe, then I can only come to the conclusion they are not competent to auction vintage trading cards. It boils down to this: Don't bother listing flaws if you are not going to list them all, especially the ones which significantly affect the value of the item. Moreover, their customer service is not very responsive or helpful. When I contacted them about the flaws they were very slow to respond to my messages. I presented a couple of options to address the problem, and it took several weeks for them to ultimately tell me to go pound sand. Because of Quinn's incompetent listing, the value of the item I purchased was far less than what I thought I was purchasing. After several weeks of trying to address the problem with them, they stood by their shallow position of let the buyer beware. Indeed, when dealing with Quinn's, let the buyer beware.

Took more than two weeks to receive a very simple item. 3rd party fulfillment was very unresponsive and required multiple prompts to get the item shipped and tracked.

The auction ended almost a month ago, and I still do not have my item. From the very beginning they have had nothing but issues. The shipping process is an absolute nightmare. There are much better auctions out there. Do yourself a favor and use anyone other than Quinn’s.

Was an easy purchase, correctly detailed and quickly completed.

My only caveat-and this is not just with Quinn's-with ALL auction houses that don't provide in-house shipping for small items, is the hassle of working with a 3rd party. I understand for larger items, furniture and the like, but with smalls, e. g., jewelry, etc., etc., I don't see why they can't offer in-house shipping. The premium fees are certainly high enough.

Better to say it no customers service at all, they never pick up phone, they never reply on messages, shipping overprized, was charged $30 for $100 small earrings, auction described incorrectly or shipper managed to loose one back lock on earrings, now it impossible to know because auction kept silence and shipper saying that received incomplete earring. For this service even one star to much. I will never buy from this auction and will recommend you think twice prior place bid.

No communication leave messages they don "t call back. Highly expensive shipping cost through recommended shippers 4 hours away. called gallery and can not get anyone

Quinn’s was fantastic, offering stellar service on a fairly inexpensive piece. They made an exception and were able to use a FedEx label (that I generated) to pack and ship. As well, offered great customer support on several other levels, very responsive. Would be happy to purchase from them again, especially a far more valuable work.

You do get what you pay for and pay you do. I found the after auction fees/shipping to be rather high; however, you are receiving near concierge level service. Quinn's us a pleasure to deal with.
