I would have appreciated them making their shipping/not shipping policies known up front. Shipping via an outside shipping vendor was almost as expensive as the cost of my items.

The item was damaged. They emailed me before auction that it was undamaged. I have sent them pictures twice, I have had no response. In fact, no one ever answers the phone, it always goes to voice mail. I have left several messages to the owner and one of their employees. This is the first time I have been asked to rate an auction house. I assume you are having problems with them. I am very displeased with this auction house and I think you need some protection for your participates against auction houses like this!

When I received the chair I noticed that the color was not at all accurately portraid on the website. I emailed them about it and this was the conversation.-Sir-I am sorry that you did not receive any response. My understanding from the Decorative Arts team was that the photography lighting led to a different "hue" or color in the photo than when seeing the chair "live". I thought from your original message you were just passing information on to us. I do apologize for that perception of color difference from the catalog to the actual chair. I hope you will bid again with us in the future.-Hi Lori, I contacted you because I wonder what the procedure is in cases like this. They offered at their auction their own shipping service or in house, I called to pay and they told me they will give me the invoice along with the shipping cost in few days, few days later they emailed me stating they cannot ship that item to look for somebody else, I replied the email requesting the measurements to have a quote, never called or email back.

I was under the belief an auction house and a bidder using live auctioneer is somewhat a legal agreement; after winning two items online, I was told I only won one. After contacting the seller, I was lied to over and over again. I was told first that I only won one item. I was then told another bidder bid the same amount and they have the option of giving it to that seller. After I advised them the item was sold for less than my actual bid and I bid more they kept coming up with lies and reasons. The owner insulted me, lied to me, spoke down to me and was very rude. Everyone in that auction house are very rude. My only assumption would be that someone in house kept that item cheating not only me, but the actual seller and owner of that piece. I was very disappointed being I took the time out to bid, watch, and follow, and after winning to only be disappointed with lies and deceit.

They don't seem to know their own policies regarding payment mthods. Also, 4 % charge for credit card payments is very high. Why should the buyer pay their cc merchant fee?

I was informed that I had won the lot from Quinn's. They never contacted me, so when I contacted them they told me I had not won. When I sent them the photos from Live Auctioneers that I had won they never responded.
