Ahlers & Ogletree I bought this dress set sight unseen. They were exactly as described and we were pleased with the dress set. Arranging payment was confusing, but didn't affect the outcome of our purchase. Wish every auction house used a standardized payment and shipping policy and that Live Auctioneers had a telephone number for customer support. Thanks for a great purchase!

This auction company's text description of the auction items is disingenuous. If you don’t inspect the actual item in person before the auction, you may bid incorrectly. Because, you will be misled. They won't give you timely feedback on the important pictures you want. Is the auction item complete or restored? responses on these key issues. They won't let you get ahead of the rankings. Your hazy bid. If you believe them, you will regret it. Make an appointment to talk to their auctioneer boss. Go back on your word. No integrity.

I won a lot and paid promptly. It took 2 weeks and several phone calls to arrange shipping. It has now been a month since I paid shipping and no return call or emails after I have reached out by both numerous times. It has been an extremely frustrating experience and I still do not have my winning lot over 6 weeks after winning it. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will not buy from them again!

I am an antique dealer, when I buy something for a good price it means I make money, that money feeds my children. When you sell my item that I won as the highest bidder to someone else you do two things. A. Undermine your reputation. B. Deprive me of earning money. If I don’t trust an auction to sell me something I bid on and win as the highest bidder, then there’s no point bidding at all. If nobody at the auction company is concerned to take responsibility for this issue it appears to indicate a lack of integrity. On the phone I was treated as if I’m a jerk for expecting the liveauctioneers highest bidder to win an item. “We don’t clerk through liveauctioneers” I was told rather rudely on the phone. Well in that case, why should anyone bid on LiveAuctioneers????!?
