The Auction House Was Topnotch!
Through no fault of the auctioneer this piece was first lost and then damaged in shipment. The shipping was arranged by Live Auctioneers new program with The Packengers and it was disastrous! I can only recommend to those thinking of using this service not to if you want the piece you purchase to arrive and be in good condition.

A Trio of Gems
Love all three Byxbe mini etchings. The only glue in the ointment so to speak was the inordinately long time it took for the new Live Auctioneers/Packengers shipping option. The option seemed like a good idea and the cost was right but a whole month from Packengers 'picking up the item at the auction house until it arrived at my door. SLOW SLOW SLOW! I love the images but the wait was annoying as normally I am only two days by ground service from this house.

Reliable auction house, good offerings and service
Purchase was four small artworks, framed under glass. They came very securely packed, with custom foam/cardboard/plastic enclosures created for each piece. Almost works of art on their own.:) Have bought a couple of times from John Moran, they are reliable, know their offerings, and provide good service.

Very Satisfactory Experience
I have previously purchased lots from John Moran at auction and have always felt that they were one of the best auction houses. This time was no exception. The piece was as described. I used the UPS store recommended by the auction house and they did a great job of packing and shipping the piece to me. I will do business with both again.

Try to get an estimate for the in house shipping. I didn't think it would be as expensive as it was.
They provide a shipping service but as I learned if at all possible pick up winnings in person if possible to save on shipping.

Very Secure Packaging
The folk art piece I bought was very carefully and securely shipped in bubble wrap and styrofoam. The piece was easy to unwrap and arrived safely. I am very pleased with the shipping experience.

Very smooth and efficient end to end-from catalog to registration to bidding to payment to shipping. Would be hard pressed to suggest improvements.
