Machine that I purchased was supposedly restored and working. Did not work when it arrived but luckily I’m familiar with the operation of these slots so after a couple hours of adjustments I have it up and running.

Shipping was indeed free and Gus delivered the table and placed it in my home in Tennessee within about 5 weeks after the auction. Not only was the item exactly as described, absolutely gorgeous, and for a great price, but the shipping was free and within days the auctioneers themselves delivered it to our house! True to photo no missing stone, polished looked to it, when asked about the size and weight response to my message was fast. When asked about the weight and later weighing the gold ring, weight was extremely accurate and true to my scale at home, over all excellent experience purchasing from California historical design.

This auction house is a quality resource. Their policy of including shipping expense was a relief and I hope they get business because of it. Most auction houses are going the opposite direction, taking no part it getting winning bidders their lots. My items were packed with extreme care and they did take a little long to get to me. But that can be expected given how they handle shipping. Good people to work with.

I have purchased a number of items from California Historical Design over the past several years and have never been disappointed. Few auction houses are willing to state an item is in "perfect" condition, but this house does use that term, and in my experience, it has always been accurate. Items are packed carefully and shipped very quickly. I highly recommend transacting business with California Historical Design without any hesitation.

No other auction company will blanket deliver to your house and then place your piece where you want it in your home. Thumbs up to that!!!
