I’ve bought several pieces from Slotin in the last few years. I’ve spent $75 for an item and $950 for a different amazing piece. All of my art was packaged like it was priceless (which it is to me) and the shipping prices are clearly stated in the auctions so you know what you’re going to pay before you bid. Most auction houses don’t have in house shipping but Slotin does and this is a huge plus in my opinion (and probably a huge pain for them but I know it keeps customers coming back). Steve has always answered any emails I’ve sent him promptly and he just seems like a decent person who loves folk art as much as his customers love it. Thanks

Slotin Auction is a good he stop for barest folk art, be it the rarest of the rare or something that is popular and yet affordable. They go out of their way to bring the best to the market and they offer several decades of knowledge and expertise in the field. I've purchased from Slotin Folk Art many times over the years and they were the same friendly, professional people they've always been. The painting I won at auction is exquisite. LiveAuctioneers needs to reinstate a relationship with PayPal or another more secure processing service immediately. My bank informed me that I cannot connect my credit card or checking account to Plaid due to repeated security issues that Plaid is aware of and neglected to address. Happily, I was able to complete my transaction another way. Other auction houses using LiveAuctioneers may not be as willing to work with me to accept payment through a secure method, which will factor into my future bidding on this platform.
