This was my first experience with Palmyra Heritage Gallery, and I am very impressed. The auction moved at a nice pace. All item descriptions were nicely detailed. The item I won was shipped in a very timely manner, well packed. Payment was easy with the invoice received the same day of the auction. All in all, it was a very professional and excellent experience.

Just received my item and am thoroughly impressed with it. The photo and description was great, in fact the item is better than I expected. Although UPS crunched the box, not usual for UPS, nothing happened to the item because it was packed well. Will follow this auctioneer in the future.

I bid on an scarab described as: "Ancient Egyptian Steatite stone Scarab c. 1 ********** BCE." What was sent was an obviously newly carved piece, the engraved edges are clean and sharp, not rounded and worn as an old piece would be. Looks more like a new piece of polymer, definitely not stone. They either make up the new pieces to look like the images, or doctor the images of what they sell. But this is definitely not something from 1 ********** BCE. Very disappointed and will never trust another auction from them again.

I have won lots from Palmyra Heritage before. Each auction transaction has been good. Through no fault of Palmyra Heritage, shipping on this lot was very slow. The items were well packaged and then shipped with UPS. Using the UPS tracking I was able to see that the box made it to a UPS station in Hodgkins, IL, where it sat for over a week without moving. UPS eventually noticed this and got the package moving again. Again, this is nothing that Palmyra Heritage had control over.

Accurate description and I got my stuff. Shipping is very expensive. US $60.00 to ship a very small necklace.
