I sit at this stunning secretary desk every day and it gives me constant joy. The piece is exactly as shown and described. It's not a true antique, but it was not described as such. It's a well-made replica, sturdy, and in perfect working condition with all pieces accounted for. Similar pieces, including ones not as intricate, go for 10-20x this amount. A delicate corner was damaged in transit, but the shipper took full responsibility and dispatched a carpenter to fix it with the week.
