Brock and Company Limited are established specialists in the sale by auction of British and world coins, tokens, medallions, medals and militaria, banknotes, postage stamps, cigarette cards, postcards and other paper ephemera plus antique and modern gold, silver and costume jewellery, silver and silver-plated ware, ceramics and glassware, paintings, clocks, toys and other small antiques and collectibles. Our company has been holding regular coin auctions since 1969 and regular jewellery and collectibles auctions since 1983 during which time we have developed considerable expertise in these fields together with a solid reputation for honesty and integrity with our customers. Due to the fact that we offer an excellent service and have a reputation for being trustworthy and helpful many of our customers have dealt with us for 20 to 30 years. Over the years our company has embraced new technologies and the launch of our original website in 1996 gave us access to an international market. In 2005 our company was one of the first auction houses in the UK to offer live internet bidding so people from all over the world can participate in our auction whilst the sale is taking place. Customers also have the option of leaving absentee bids prior to the auction sale via the internet or by email, phone and fax. Our sales are open to members of the public and are held in The Acton Court Hotel, 187 Buxton Road, Davenport, Stockport, SK2 7AB, UK. This venue is less than 5 minutes drive from Stockport and 15 minutes from Manchester city centre. Davenport and Stockport train stations are nearby, the main 192 bus route has a stop just outside the hotel and Manchester Airport is approx. 20 minutes away by car.
