The outside is as shown in the photo. The frame of the mirror inside comes off loosely. Therefore, the mirror may come off due to the impact of opening. I think it can't be helped because it's antique. I thought it would be nice if it was written in the item description column. For small amounts, it would be nice to have an in-house shipping system. This is the second successful bid. I think the product lineup is good because there are rare items. It would be convenient if we could pay with a credit card.

Nothing crazy to add here: folks at Clarke were very friendly and helpful. This was my first auction purchase and they were very helpful in guiding me in what I needed to do (e. g. suggested recommended shippers, guidance on the release form to be completed). They have a beautiful selection of high end items. I look forward to doing business with them again.

Communication with the auction house is top notch and items are very accurately described. They are very accommodating as far as shipping or pick up of items. Over all very happy with this auction house.

The retro gold and silver brooch has description to be mentioned as they have diamonds in them but once I received the items and got them checked, there is not a single diamond in the brooch as mentioned in the description. Also, the pearl necklace seems to be misrepresented by not mentioning they are cultured pearls. It is expected from a reputed auction house to have accurate description of the items that are present in the auction. Having glass instead of diamonds and new cultured pearls clearly not being stated is utter disappointing. I have tried multiple times to write an email to them but have not received any response so far. I wish to find a resolution for this purchase made as it has become too costly for me for items that donot contain even real diamonds which is a basic requirement by an auction house to check the material of the items with accuracy. Kindly respond to my emails so that some resolution can be made for these items purchased due to misrepresentation.

These days Covid-19 all over the world.. I bought many pieces from Americans auctioneers and I payed credit card.. unfortunately Clarke company they said we don’t accept credit and they only take bank transfer.. COVID-19 days I wend for bank transfer my bank … they must be more helpful for foreign buyers
