Included is a selection of French and Continental furniture highlighted by a pair of gueridons, a Louis XVI provincial commode, a duchesse brisée, a center table, a Scandinavian painted hall bench, and a set of Directoire dining chairs. Henault?s well-edited eye can be seen throughout in his fine choices of material, scale and quality. To complement this selection, we are pleased to offer a varied selection of traditional, fine and decorative arts paired with Asian and modern works of art. Included in this sale are works Sold to Benefit Art for Access, Bennington College, Property from the Collections of Loyd F. and Linda F. Crawley, and other private collections and estates.

Very Happy with my purchase

My second purchase from Stair and I am very happy with my lovely Matisse etching. I have friends who have bought from them and all have nothing but good to say. They were, however, let down badly by their reccomended shippers, UPS Store # 4541, who tried to severely overcharge us for the freighting of the work to us in London.

very accurate descriptions, very helpful after sale support

my won lots were very accurately described, upon receipt I found them to exceed expectations (there is only so much even the best photography can achieve). Lovely after sale support for the arranging of shipping; i found their recommendations for shipping agents most helpful, and I'm very satisfied with the service supplied by the local agent (UPS in Hudson, NY) I selected. I look forward to fututre purchases from this auction house
