Shipping overseas is stupidly expensive
Whilst bidding and fees were well documented, they wanted over $100 to ship a photo to the UK. Even via Fedex it was just over $20!

Hello, I checked with both of the preferred shippers and they were around $80, which is the shipper you used. I wish you would have reached out to us at the gallery, as it looks like we could have done the shipping for approximately $40 for the International Delivery. Always reach out if you think it is not a fair price and we are glad to help you look. Obviously, we don't control shipping rates, especially International, but we also don't make any money on shipping and should not be held accountable for shipping, especially if you did not let us know of any issue. I ONLY like getting 5-star reviews and hope to earn that in the future from you.:)

Shipping prices crazy
I received my bracelet. I cleaned it and put it right on. It’s very nice. The shipping was crazy. It cost just as much to ship this lightweight bracelet as the bracelet cost. It came in a box that was way oversized, packed with peanuts and the bracelet was wrapped in bubble wrap 3-4 inches deep. That’s over kill. And makes the shipping costs ridiculous. This will be my last auction with rapid estate unfortunately due to this.

I just left you a VM as well. I checked this and you paid $43 for the bracelet and $20.50 for the shipping. That is really like the minimum for a shipper to come to gallery, pack with supplies and make a small profit. We offer combining of orders to help but when you only get one item shipping can cost as much or more if you got a good deal, which you did in the silver bangle. Thank you for your purchase.

Thank You so much for your support and kind words about the item and auction. We do have two preferred shippers and allow for any shipper of choice, so definitely check around and let us know if you have any questions about shipping as we want you to spend more on items and not shipping. We do allow our shippers to combine order also to allow for shipping savings. Never hesitate to contact the staff.:) Happy Weekend!!

Great customer experience
I am very satisfied with my experience as this was my first time bidding on an auction. It was easy and efficient. I called and asked to pick up at the auction gallery and was impressed with the customer service and how kind everyone was. I have since bid on another 2 separate occasions at Rapid Estate and will definitely be coming back in the future some more. The prices and quality on vintage items are great and they have a large variety of items for all kinds of niches and collectors. Thank you!

Great items
This auction house has many great items always on auction. I won 11 bids. Some small jewelry, a doll, coloring books, and small chachkas, an Alamo clock and a glass gloved clock. Everything came in as pictured and the items are great. I had spoken with their choice of shippers and stated do not over pack everything and make the shipping price crazy. Each item, including the boxed doll and coloring books and jewelry on top of everything else, were packed in so much bubble wrap that it was a complete and utter waste, and the box of all items were boxed in a bigger box packed with peanuts. This shipping cost was an unwarranted $169 because they over packed each and every item, even the non breakable items. This is why I will be no longer buying on this site or any other auction site. They over charge for shipping and they over pack the even smallest of items. I’ll be looking at yard sales, eBay or whatever site just to avoid these crazy charges.
