it was ok. Shipping cost absurdly y Hight, will not do business again

I have been to several Merkel Auctions and I'm always impressed. A very honest and professional company. Good array of items nicely displayed. Hard working congenial staff to help the auctions run smoothly. A great auction experience everytime.

Reputable vendor

Great items that I really liked and almost feel like I stole them. The Zeppelin & Beatles Boxsets are fantastic, as is the Woodstock anniversary Blu-Ray.

I contacted the Merkel's Auctions by phone to set up a Zelle payment & was pleasantly surprised to reach the owner on first try. The owner was very helpful. I was able to receive confirmation that my items had been shipped soon after I made my payment. I received the items via USPS Priority mail. I was extremely impressed with the security of the packaging of the coins I purchased. Everything was tightly shrink wrapped & surrounded by packing peanuts for cushioning. When I cut open the packaging I found my items just as they were detailed in the auction. I will definitely look to do business with Merkel's Auctions, again!

Items are as described. Shipping was fast and my items arrived safe and sound. I would happily work with Merkel's Auction Specialists, Inc. again!

This was my first auction purchase with this company and the did everything perfect. I called to ask about an item I was going to bid on and not only was my question answered, but I had a great conversation with the owner who I could tell loved antiques and his work. Everything from being able to buy three item for my collection, to paying for them, and getting them shipped was easy and seamless. I am very pleased with this auction house!

My recent auction experience was outstanding. The registration process was easy. The bidding on my phone was very convenient. Payment was simple to arrange. And, finally, the packaging my items was the best I've ever encountered from an auction house. I could not be more pleased with my experience with Merkel's Auction Specialists, Inc.

My whole experience with Merkle's was very positive, from bidding (I submitted a highest bid and had them bid for me) to shipping everything was fast, easy and no problems with anything. I am looking forward to finding another treasure at one of their auctions and know it will be a positive experience all around. They shipped my item and it arrived promptly for a reasonable shipping fee.

Very Satisfied excellent in all respects.

This auction house has a very confusing payment process. They don't accept credit cards and I was actually told "I can take your credit card, but it's not paid because you can then reverse the charge". Their only accepted methods are checks and wire. Something else strange occurred while bidding on Live. During the auction items were declared sold, then seconds later the same lot re-opened to accept higher bids? This practice is unscrupulous and makes one question the integrity of the auctioneer and company. Overall a very disappointing experience.

I'm fairly new to auctions and enjoyed this particular House and its process. Quick, but not too quic, to allow on-line bidders time to contemplate. Great selection and I found what I was looking for at reasonable end bids. No complaints related to the process or shipping/payment. In fact, extremely impressed how they shipped a box within a box (wrapped in bubble wrap!!!) to secure my very delicate/fragile item. For this reason alone, in my humble opinion, they deserve five stars. Thank you.
