What a find!
The piece is magnificent. Getting it to Chicago proved to be a challenge but the auction house did a great job in getting it to me! I love it!

I won lot # 135 September auction. i paid for item, in 5 days the said I did not win it.
Very disappointed. I paid for lot next day. I contacted shipping company for shipping my item. In 5 days they changed their mind and send me refund. Very bad service I will never bid again

Wow! I am so sorry! Our clerk made an error during the live auction. This was sold for less to someone on the floor. As soon as we realized the mistake, we apologized and refunded the money. I am so very sorry we made a mistake but I do not believe a 1 star is warranted.

The shipping cost initially quoted was almost three times my winning bid. I was going to just pay for the item and ask them to depose of it, but they re-figured the shipping cost to about half the winning bid. Shipping costs remain a problem for auctioneers and bidders, so it is important that auctioneers find talented, honest shipping sources who do not try to take advantage of customers. Customer service was helpful in resolving my concern and worked quickly and effectively to present an acceptable solution.

Shipping is always difficult. We do not make any additional money on shipping charges. Sometimes when people win things for a low bid, especially when it comes to furniture being shipped a far distance.

Candle sticks were split, bent, and dented. These are basically scrap. No mention of any damage was made in the description.
