Got a set of earrings for my wife and what I received, did not even come close to what was on the photo and description at the time of the auction. Wrote to the company, expressing my complaint and they are yet to answer back on how this will be solved.

Im very new at auctions, so the very long wait to receive my purchases was unexpected.

The pictures of the ring are inadequate. The ring itself really doesn't look like the picture at all. I believe that is a base picture they use for all these types of rings but it would have been helpful to have actual photos of the ring I was buying. The size of the diamonds/amethyst do not look like the picture at all. They are tiny and really not worth the money I paid. Even having the actual gem card would have been helpful instead of a generic sample card. Seeing the actual ring next to a ruler would have been helpful as the generic picture looks much larger than the ring I received.

I have now purchased 2 different items from this vendor. Both experiences were a purchased at a great price, shipping was fast, and item was as pictured.

With so. e of the competition in this online auction world you can't trust anything they say but in all the times I have won an auction through Papps everything they write or say about the item is exact shipping and all Papps makes the online auction world fun and trustworthy only if they could all follow Papps lead...

My experience with this auction house was great. The items arrived quickly with emails alerting me of the process. The payment process was a breeze, too. I also very much appreciate that the items I purchased were just as described. Quality was excellent.

I accidentally ended up in a jewelry auction which was held by Papps Family Liquidation and contrary to what I had expected from myself, I was nevertheless intrigued by those shiny gems. After some three hours just looking at the option I decide to make a bid myself. No luck at first but finally I won a set of beautiful earrings en two necklaces. If the estimated prices were correct I even bought them for a very reasonable price. I asked them to ship the items directly to my home address in the Netherlands instead of my address In the US and that was also no problem. Because of my inexperience and lack of knowledge about jewelry, the size was a bit disappointing when I received them but my girlfriend nevertheless thought differently and she should know. The biggest disappointment, although I was fully aware of it, came when I had to pick up the items because in the Netherlands they rate you ridiculous high taxes and VAT even though they have to do nothing for it and valued isn't added at all. That is the only warning I want to give people when you want to bid at a Papps auction or whatever auction in the US; remember that on the home front the thieves, in this case the governments, are lurking to steal some more money from you. For the rest, I can recommend that you, just like me, try to bid an hopefully win on one of the Papps Family Liquidation auctions.

ring I received is smaller than picture, however, it is still a beautiful ring. size was not correct, therefore I have to pay to get it sized. I feel image displayed in auction enlarges ring leaving a deception of how big ring actually is. Overall, process and customer service was great.

They took quite some time to ship the item. They also shipped the item but never sent the shipping info. They did have good communication when I had questions. I would do business with them again but expect a long waiting period for your ite.

Love that fact that the rings purchased are resized for free thereby providing a savings and convenience factor to the sale!
