The need to go in person & view items is essential. Looking at pics on computer is convient but can be deceiving or not show a full appreiation value..... besides you may see something else you like better.

I have bid with Broken Arch for years on various items. They have always operated with honesty, integrity, and have been responsive to questions. And, the quality of the items brought in for auction are fantastic. This is a great auction house to do business with.

excellent packing

I'm local and they don't check their messages regularly and only have 9-4 hours, and not even that at times. When I first "won" this auction, they were going out of town and had narrow time frames when I could pick up this item. Now I'm still trying to pick it up. No one answers their phones there. Customer service is almost non-existent. If you are a local person, unless you are a retiree, don't bother. I've won several auctions and had great customer service, auction holders available, able to pick items up on weekends, but not these people.

I've bought a number of items over several years from these folks, I've found them to be honest and straightforward. I've been at the auction house when potential bidders called for condition reports and I have been impressed at the accuracy of the verbal descriptions. I am happy to recommend Travis and his staff.

Individuals at the auction house were friendly, helpful and responded to my inquiries quickly. Payment process was speedy and list of shippers helpful. Item won was in excellent condition as reported. Would buy from again.

I was informed that my won items were being transferred to UPS. I then sent an email requesting a price estimate for shipping. They did not respond. I asked again three weeks later and I still haven't received a response. I find this annoying and very unprofessional. Some of the auctions have in-house shipping and they turn around won items almost immediately. Given that it could take one week for the items to arrive-it will be four weeks since I won this lot at auction and I still haven't received it??

These guys get it. Honest item descriptions. Brought my items to their local shipper who did an excellent job at safely packing and shipping my items at a fair price. Great

If we do not count the numerous attempts to contact them and the uncoordinated information they give about sending the item. And also if we don't count the three weeks of waiting for me to coordinate the inquiry, the unmotivated and not very accurate information of the UPS store they work with. I can say that they are a good auction house! Let's say that I was not very lucky in my work with them!
