I asked about the authenticity
I bought a heishe necklace and asked the auction house about the authencity of the item. And they responded with as much knowledge that they had and I appreciated that. I thought the shipping charges were definitely in line and not over board with all kinds of "packaging charges". I received the package within 3 days and I found that to be wonderful. I will buy again from the auction house.

Fees, fees, and more fees.
It just isn't worth it to buy at online auctions anymore. The fees are getting out of hand. I was okay with the premium, but then the shipping and handling fee is outrageous. Highly recommend using another service outside Live Auctioneers shipping. Items were wrapped in paper towel and my S & H fee was 190.97 for a box that shouldn't have cost more than 35.00. I was liking the auction house until I saw the fees.

Jamie, we totally agree! We still offer in-house shipping to our bidders to avoid the high shipping costs associated with Live Auctioneers shipping. My concern is, we see you were charged $43 to ship and insure 11 items, which isn't too crazy, but wondering why/where you see a $190.97? Please contact us... Either this this the wrong auction house and transaction, or Live Auctioneers has fees that even the auction houses don't see. Your invoice indicates $43 was charged.

Hello, you selected Live Ship for your shipping option. This was not in house shipping. Yes, you can get a claim from LA, but to expedite the process for you, we have sent a check for $50 for the repair/replacement. Very sorry to hear there was damage.

Always check your orders
I won this item, and when it arrived, the 1st thing I did was open each roll one at a time and count each roll. The next to last roll had only 37 nickels instead of the usual 40 count. Maybe they took some out to take pictures and forgot to put them back. I was a tad ticked about it, but what can you do? It's your word against theirs. I don't know who's to blame. Whether it's the cosigner or the auction house for not opening or weighing them to see if they are all there. Will I buy from them again? I don't know. I guess it could depend on what it is. Did I contact them? I thought I did. Apparently, I ended up writing to Live Auctioneers, and I thought I had clicked on Cowboy Joe's link to tell them. But it's to late to do anything now. Live & learn, and always check your items under a video camera for documentation.

Laurence, this is the first any of us at Cowboy Joe's are hearing of this, either from you or Live Auctioneers. No, it is not too late, and we'd be happy to make things right with a partial refund. These were old nickels and pre-rolled and came from a bank estate. Over the course of the years, likely those three fell out. Nothing was done intentionally of course. We trust you and believe you. Needing video evidence is not how we conduct business with our bidders. We will work on a resolution immediately. I'm very sorry you were unable to reach us initially. We do have contact information in the form of phone numbers and emails posted on our first page of the auction. Thank you for the four-stars though!

Beautiful Watch
