Be extremely cautious
I'd like to say that the item was damaged beyond what was disclosed but as soon as the auction house learned of it they took actions to make it right. In the end they refunded the sale and were quite amazing throughout the process.

We are concerned that you are not happy with your purchase. We tried several times to contact you by phone and email with no response. As for the description it was taken from the label located inside the violin. The photos show that the item was in poor condition and the hammer price of $60 reflects that. As for the age, they have been reproducing these for over 100 + years and I am not a violin expert, but I believe it was from the 20's or the 30's by the condition, the wear and the patina. When you picked up your purchase, you did not mention any of your concerns outside the case was not photographed to your satisfaction. We are a full time auction responding to questions and concerns daily, Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, for additional details, condition reports, additional photos as requested, which is noted in our terms and conditions. This was an estate item located in the basement and needed to be liquidated. As for the condition, I try not to list online this sort of item, but maybe someone would have been interested in the violin parts. It seems your title is inflammatory and over kill. Posted to damage the auction and discredit the auction house. We take criticism to heart and try to make adjustments so our customers have an enjoyable experience.

Great antiques, great service
South Jersey Auction sold a mahogany silver chest in near perfect condition. After the sale, they helped me arrange shipping and even took the extra time to offer to connect me with another client in Chicago to coordinate shipping and save costs. My beautiful antique arrived in perfect condition and in only one week. Buy with confidence that these small business owners will treat you right!

Nice vases, but one was bent, and it didn't really show in the photos.
Beautiful vases. Shipping was a challenge, doubling the cost of the purchase, so, be ware, pickup, packing and shipping can be surprisingly expensive. One of the vases was bent and leaning about 10 degrees at the bronze neck, which didn't really show up in the photos. Fortunately, I was able to straighten it without breaking it. The auction house was helpful in finding the most cost effective shipper.

Not quite what I expected
I know this was a used military jacket, and expected it to be worn, but I wish they had indicated that the zipper was broken actually torn. I may have not bid on it.

GREAT auction house!!!! Absolutely the BEST experience!!!
This is the best experience, the most fun, AND the best items I have experienced with 'on line auctions houses'. Everything was a perfect experience... and the people MADE it that way as well!! I cannot WAIT to be a 'bidder' at another one of their auctions.... (and then another one.. and then another one....) YOU will be as please as I AM!!!!
