Great Buy! š
I bid on a number of antique Meerschaum figural pipes. I won two, at pretty darn nice prices. Both pieces were in lovely condition, even nicer in hand, and very collectable. The payment process was seamless, and easy to follow. The shipping-SO important with such fragile antiques, was again PERFECT! So professionally packed, like I imagine museum staff would have packed them-worth every penny. I was delighted with everything

Difficult to work with post sale
This auction house is very limited with availability to collect your winnings. They never answer the phone and rarely at their location in the old mill building. If you do not meet their strict pick up window, good luck getting your items. Most auction houses work with the buyer when they are unable to meet thr pick up deadline. Not here, they will confiscate your item and resell it and keep all the profit. Poor business model in the antiques world. Be warned, they are lacking in communication and availability.

Weāre sorry youāre frustrated. For clarity, weād like to outline the timeline. You did not attend the original listed pickup window following the auction. We then made additional arrangements for the following week and asked that you confirm a time, but we did not hear back. We continued holding your items. About a month after the auction, we scheduled a special accommodation during the Thanksgiving holiday. We made it clear that timing needed to be strict due to limited staff availability. You arrived approximately 45 minutes late, and our staff had already left for the day. We did not receive communication until well after the scheduled time. We continued storing the items through the remainder of the year. After the New Year ā and after more than three months of storage and three unsuccessful pickup attempts ā the items were deemed abandoned. You did not reach out again until the end of January, well after the items were no longer available. We do make efforts to work with buyers when communication and follow-through are present, and in this case multiple accommodations were made over an extended period

simply a fantastic European wall clock.
WOW. I got a gem. It took a while. BUT-I am bursting with joy at finally getting this clock. I mean I have well over 400 clocks and this one is one of the top ten in my collection. Simple-yet beautiful. I need for the shipping agent to be acknowledged.-as I said I have had numerous experiences with hundreds of shippers-Wow-this company really, really, did the "best job" of ever shipping a clock to me. the clock itself needs putting back together but that is the easy part.

Solid item
I like the item that I won a great deal. The only issue with this auction was that they had such a crush of items that it took a while to get things shipped out. Things did get shipped out, in the end, with a bit of patience.

We handled your shipping release just days after the auction, and within a week, your items were already at the shipperās location, getting prepared for delivery. Amazing auction house easy to work with
To say that the guys over at East wing are professional would be an understatement. The entire team is very customer service driven, and are very, very accommodating. I live about two hours away from them, and they always accommodate me as long as I communicate with them, on pick up times. That is a huge deal for me since im driving from so far. The pictures and descriptions provided by this auction team Certainly make it easy to place a bid and bid confidently. I love all of the information they provide and they never try to hide any damage or any as is. I have found with other option houses they do not take the same courtesies. Often times I find that auction houses lack description or outright just donāt mention damage and to me, as a bitter I feel like the more information I have the more confidence I can bid with. They pride themselves on describing all items to the best of their ability and showing any damage in the photos. This makes me as a long distance, bidder, feel very confident about doing business with them. I have never once been disappointed upon picking up my items. I am constantly anxiously awaiting their next sale! If you buy from them you will definitely love them!
