Great experience
They billed and shipped really quickly. Packed really nicely. The only problem which ISN'T ON THEM, was UPS was delayed due to weather problems. I would have gotten them in super quick. S #@ t happens. I am very satisfied with their service. Have done business with them in the past and look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Exactly as described/pictured.
The bayonet was exactly as described and arrived much quicker than expected. In-house packing/shipping costs were very reasonable. Definitely happy with the purchase.

We're sorry you were dissatisfied with the speed of shipping. Please keep in mind, we are a small business and can't compete with shipping times like Amazon or larger companies. That being said, your order did ship in 10 days, though it does appear UPS took upwards of a week to deliver your order which is out of our control. Thanks!

Shipping, is the most important to me.
I have used this auction site and will continue to use them. I also show others how I bid almost daily. Everything I have won has been what I expected or better. Took about 6 weeks to get item and not sure why it took so long?
I did get responses when trying to pay and the system was having issues but the 2 messages about when the item would be shipped never got a response. It was 6 weeks from when I paid until I received the item.

Hello. I believe you may be confused with the auction open and close date. This auction ended on 11/11 and you paid on 11/12. You received a shipping invoice on 11/26 which was 2 weeks later. It shipped the very next day. Any delays in shipping were out of our control. Please note, we are not a large corporation and we can not compete with shipping times like Amazon. We do our best to get orders packed as quickly as possible being a very small team. Thanks

Slow processing and shipping
I experienced very slow processing and shipping of my items. As this is the first time I have done business with them I can't say if this was their standard or an outlier. There was apparently and off-season snow storm they had do deal with but that didn't cause all of the delay.

Hello, Thank you for your comment! We always strive to keep our shipping times low. We are a small business with a small team working to get hundreds of orders packed as quickly as possible. Businesses like us can not compete with companies like Amazon. Our terms and conditions do state that shipping times can take up to 3 weeks. This is stated so that you can make an informed decision prior to bidding in our auctions. We endured a blizzard that shut us down for 3 days and LiveAuctioneers went down for 2 days. Your shipping invoice was available in less than 10 business days. We are sorry that this is less than satisfactory for you. We hope to do better in the future with a larger team. Thanks!

Shipping is bad
It is getting close to almost 2 months from the end of auction. Still have not got bill for shipping. Still waiting for items. Is is the slowest shipping of any auction I have ever bid on.

Poor comunication
This is the second auction I have been involved it with them and after emailing them with my tax exempt certificate they still charged me tax without ever contacting me. Shipping is also more than it should be.

How they handles their auction from beginning to end.
Old Steel Firearms Auction surprised me on their professional manner in how they handle their auction. I won an artillery shell and was concerned with the shipping cost in the third party shipping rip offs out there today. They charged my card and the shipping was added and I was so please they did not totally screw one over in shipping a heavy item. They were on top of every step from winning this lot and then shipping it in a fast manner. Now I wish I would of bid on the other artillery shells. I WILL BID IN THEIR FUTURE AUCTIONS EVERY TIME THEY HAVE ONE.
