Incredible Third Party Shipping Service
The items I purchased in this auction could not be shipped by Loom Estates due the shape and size of the items I purchased. They connected me with Randy Jessup at the local UPS store near their location. Randy was so friendly and great to work with. He was truly an added benefit to doing business with the incredible folks at Loon Estates. I am looking forward to their next Railroad Auction.

They will try to resolve issues.
Auction items where nice, my issue was with shipping. Quote from 3rd party was very high. The Auctioneer resolved by canceling the sale, I agreed to doing that. I would probably bid on items again only if they where to ship in house.

Beautiful, antique sculpture!
Pleasure to do business with Loon Estates-sculpture is just as nice as it was described and photographed! For packing services, use The UPS Store # 2158! Randy is professional and conscientious; he and his team packed this fragile sculpture with great sensitivity and care. I'm truly indebted for their making the extra effort to ensure the safe arrival of my lot, for the reasonableness of the price for packing and shipping, and for communicating with me during the entire process.

Excellent customer service
I was thrilled to received my well-packaged item recently. It was in the condition described in the auction so there were no surprises. Loon Estates had great customer service and I also had to talk with their shipper and it all went very smoothly. Everyone was great and our communication and shipping went well. Absolutely zero complaints. Highly recommend!

Hidden extra charges & inflated shipping charge with horrible packing & materials
Buyer Beware... they will tack on payment charges not mentioned prior... there shipping is very expensive also not mentioned and risky unless your ok with cheap packing materials and nothing protecting the item bought... they even use the regular mail (not mentioned) even though the cost was four times theirs.. I bought a poster and it got dropped in a tube the thickness of a toliet paper roll with no packaging sent in the economy regular mail for $34.

Thank you for your feedback! Was there damage to the item or packaging? If so, please send photos to ********** so we can process a claim for you. The online payment fee is a standard fee that LiveAuctioneers charges for credit card payments through their platform. Some auction houses choose to raise their buyer's premium to cover this. We choose not to do this as it would result our customer's who pay via different methods to pay this fee unnecessarily. We appreciate your feedback and going forward we will look to make the credit card processing charge more apparent in the auction policies. Shipping posters and prints rolled in a tube is a standard practice. The tubes we use have a 30lb. crush rating and if there is damage to the item we're happy to file a claim against the shipper. As for the cost of shipping, the label cost (which was the least expensive of USPS, UPS, and Fedex) was $19.39, the insurance for a $300 item was $7.50, the cost of the tube was $4.00 (our cost from the wholesaler), which comes to a total of $30.89. The remaining few dollars covers our packing time, which we feel is a very reasonable fee for providing shipping. Thanks again for your feedback and please let us know if the item was damaged so we can get that taken care of for you.
