PLEASE NOTE: ALL BIDDERS MUST READ AND ACCEPT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS SALE IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE AND BID. THESE TERMS ARE A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE AUCTION AND THE BIDDER. EACH ITEM IS SOLD AND PURCHASED AS IS, WHERE AS: Items may have minor condition issues that are not noted in the description. It is each bidder?s responsibility to judge the condition of an auction item. Bidders are encouraged to contact us by email with any condition questions, and to review the condition descriptions and photos carefully. NO WARRANTY: We have tried to identify any condition issues in each item description. However, items may have minor condition issues that are not noted in the description. No implied or written warranty on any items and Art Deco Decor will not assume any responsibility or liability with respect to age, condition, rarity, provenance or historical relevance of the items being sold. BIDDING: The Auctioneer will be the final judge as to which bidder is the highest bidder. In the event of any dispute in this matter, the auctioneer shall at his discretion decide to reopen the bidding or not. For online bidding each item has a minimum bid identified in the item description. You may bid as much as you want over the minimum bid. You may raise a bid by the standard increments indicated by Live Auctioneers. Bidders are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all bids. BIDDER REGISTRATION INFORMATION: In order to register for the auction, and have your bids accepted, a bidder must provide: their current mailing address and telephone number(s); current email address; and, a valid, current credit card number. Bids will not be accepted unless the bidder has properly registered prior to the auction. BID REJECTIONS/WITHDRAWAL OF LOTS: Art Deco Decor reserves the right to reject any and all bids from any bidder or potential bidder at any time without restrictions. Art Deco Decor also reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time prior to the end of the auction and assumes no liability for such withdrawal. BID FAILURES, ERRORS AND OMISSIONS: Art Deco Decor will not be responsible for any failures, errors, or omissions related to the execution of any bids, including any related computer problems. All bids must be submitted consistent with the terms of the auction and the bidding instructions. BUYER CHARGES: Checks are not accepted as payment until the check has cleared our checking account. Checks returned for insufficient funds are subject to a $50 fee. HIGH BIDDERS/INVOICES: Invoices will be emailed to successful bidders during the week following the auction. Electronic invoices will be sent by email to bidders providing an e-mail address. All packing, shipping and insurance charges are the responsibility of each successful bidder/buyer. Payment may be made by cash, check, money order, or Visa or MasterCard etc. Full payment is due within 10 days of receiving the invoice. State sales tax will be charged to residents of California unless a valid tax exemption or resale certificate number is provided. NOTE: All bids are contractual obligations. Bidders are obligated to honor their bids as contracts to buy the items involved. Invoices overdue by I4 days or longer will be submitted to an independent collection agency and result in additional liability for processing charges and/or legal fees. Bidders with invoices overdue by 14 days or longer will also permanently lose bidding privileges with Art Deco Decor. SHIPPING: Buyer Pays Shipping Cost. Art Deco Decor can provide shipping of small items at a cost. Art Deco Decor will also assist bidders in arranging for the shipment of their items by providing a list of reputable shippers if the items are too large for Art Deco Decor to ship. All pickups or shipping arrangements should be made at the time of payment, but no later than 15 business days from the sale.Items will be shipped after full receipt of payment. Items paid by check will not be shipped until the check clears. All auctions items must be insured at the buyer?s expense for shipping. Should an item be damaged in shipment, insurance claims would be made directly with the shipper. ALL packaging must be saved. Art Deco Decor will assist successful bidders in making an insurance claim if an item is properly insured and damaged in shipping. However, Art Deco Decor does not accept, and disclaims, any responsibility or liability for any shipping or mailing related damage!
