Contents of The Dock Square Inn
A Fine Auction featuring items collected from around the country by early New England antique dealers and pickers. The items were displayed prominently in the historic Dock Square Inn Kennebunkport Maine. The building was originally owned by Sea Captain Newell around 1856. Prior to becoming the Dock Square Inn it was also the Apothecary Pharmacy, the Chowder House and Shoby's country store. It became the Dock Square Inn around 1956 and over the last 61 years the collection of antiquities has steadily grown to encompass the eclectic tastes of the current owner Kymara Galleries. Many of the items were acquired in the Litchfield Hills of Connecticut, New York, Maine and surrounding areas. This fine estate contains numerous generations of collections and accumulations. We are still digging through the layers of fine goods and the site will be updated frequently.
