The majority of the collection showcases Louis Solon?s delicate work at the Minton factory; favoring Hellenistic figures and allegories, or Cupid and cherubs in whimsical settings. We begin with pate-sur-pate plaques, vases, and urns, a unique Minton ink stand and letter rack, and a Minton plate, from the Paris World Exhibition of 1878.
