All certified Pre-Owned watches come with a 1-year warranty from date of purchase, limited to the movement, if such movement is defective in material or workmanship under normal use. All packages will be shipped by USPS, UPS, or Fed-Ex Ground within two weeks after payment has been received. If you wish items shipped a certain way, you must notify us before making payment. Deposit: A $200 registration deposit by Visa/MCDiscover/AMEX is required prior to bidding and will be authorized on your credit card. This $200.00 deposit is not a charge, only an authorization hold; if you decide not to make any bids during this auction, or if none of your bids are successful, the Auctioneer will not take any money from your account, and the authorization hold on your $200.00 will be lifted within 24 hours after the completion of the auction. Paine Co., Inc., satisfaction, by providing properly executed and notarized affidavit by recognized gemologist or experts in that estate and vintage jewelry, that a lot is counterfeit, Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., will refund the full purchase price. AT THE SALE Refusal of Admission – Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., has the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse participation in any auction and to reject any registration before Bidding. A prospective buyer must complete a registration form and provide credit card before bidding. Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., may require bank or other financial references. Bidding as Principal – When making a bid, a bidder is accepting personal liability to pay the purchase price, including the buyer’s premium, all applicable taxes and all other applicable charges, unless it has been explicitly agreed upon in writing with Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., before the commencement of the sale that the bidder is acting as agent on behalf of an identified third party acceptable to Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., and that Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., will only look to the principal for payment. Online Bids – Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., will use reasonable efforts to carry out online bids and does not accept liability for equipment failure, inability to access the internet or software malfunctions related to the execution of online bids. If any dispute arises after the sale, Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., sale record is conclusive. SUCCESSFUL BID The highest bidder acknowledged by Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., will be the purchaser. In the case of a tie bid, the winning bidder will be determined by Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., at its sole discretion. In the event of a dispute between bidders, Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., has final discretion to determine the successful bidder or to re offer the lot in dispute. If any dispute arises after the sale, the Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., sale record shall be conclusive. Title passes upon the fall of Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., hammer to the highest acknowledged bidder subject to the Conditions of Sale set forth herein, and the bidder assumes full risk and responsibility. PAYMENT The buyer must pay the entire amount due (including the hammer price, buyer’s premium, all applicable taxes, and other charges) no later than 5 p.m. on the first business day following the sale. Payment in U.S. dollars and subject to other limitations which may be imposed by Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., in its sole discretion); by credit card, wire, bank check, personal check or cashier’s check drawn on a U.S. bank unless other arrangements are made with Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc. Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., reserves the right to hold merchandise purchased by personal check until the check has cleared the bank. The purchaser agrees to pay Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., a handling charge of $50 for any check dishonored by the drawee. Credit Card purchases must be shipped to a verified billing address in the United States. Buyers residing outside the United State must pay with bank wires. HAMMER PRICE / BUYER’S PREMIUM In addition to the hammer price, the buyer agrees to pay Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., a buyer’s premium, and the applicable sales tax added to the final total. Buyer's Premium of 15% (of hammer price) when paying by cash, check or wire transfer or 18% when paying by credit card. Our terms supersede credit card terms. No chargebacks. Invoices over $3,000 USD must be paid via Wire Transfer, Personal Check, or Cashier's Check. Buyers outside the United States must submit payment via wire transfer. Credit cards are not an accepted form of payment for buyers outside the United States. Payment must be received by Stanley J. Paine Co., Inc., within the five business days immediately following the auction. SALES TAX All items shipped to Massachusetts or picked up at our location are subject to 6.25% sales tax.
