Our fall three-day auction weekend offers rare and decorative objects from estates throughout Maine and New England. Day 2 features an outstanding collection of artwork, including paintings by Gilbert Stuart, Julien Dupre, Louis Jambor, Charles D?Entraygues, John Hughes, Maurice Prendergast, Charles Daubigny, and Percy Sanborn. Also offered is a nice selection of Americana, such as an 18th c. PA paint decorated dowry chest, an Abraham Lincoln autographed Civil War letter, several great weathervanes, a rare Brooklyn, NY 19th c. firefighting logbook.
