The sale begins with two impressive pieces of finely carved jade, one depicting Guanyin and the other a phoenix. Further highlights of the auction include a range of items from famed Danish silversmith, Georg Jensen, as well as Johan Rohde, one of his most prominent collaborators who helped establish the firm?s leadership in the field of 20th century silver. Highlights also include a monumental and important Dominick and Haff centerpiece decorated with a motif of griffins (lot 1013) from the Fisher estate.
