Stefek's Auctioneers & Appraisers presents our End of Summer: Fine Art, Furniture, and Design Auction. Highlighted within this auction is a wide variety of contemporary fine art, including oil on canvas works by Jose Royo, Clement Kwan, Yuri Gorbachev, and Richard S. Johnson. Other artworks of note include "Spring in Paris" and "Winter in Paris" by Antoine Blanchard, "Leaving Mt. Tangula" by Weizhen Liang, and "Woodland Landscape with River/Creek and People" by Hungarian artist Americo Makk. Featured as part of our fine art selection are two Madoura Pablo Picasso red earthenware plates, "Visage en Gros Relief" and "Visage au Masque de Chevrons." A large selection of Victorian-era furniture and decorative items will be on offer, including a 19th century extending dining table and chair set, a Victorian mahogany dressing table with adjustable bench, a Regency side board, a pair of Victorian Gothic-Revival brass church candlesticks, several Victorian brass fireplace articles, a Victorian brass bed frame, and an English Victorian marble-top washstand. Several lamps to be offered, including hanging swag fixtures and a Handel table lamp; a c. 1910s Tiffany Studios New York "Grapevine" pattern desk lamp to be highlighted. Featured pieces from the jewelry selection to include a custom 14kt - 18kt gold, diamond, and ruby dome ring, a 14kt yellow gold circular link lady's necklace, a Victorian 18kt yellow gold and diamond circular brooch, and an 18kt yellow gold Italian lady's link bracelet. Several sterling silver items will be on offer: a ninety-six piece "Louis XV" sterling and silver plate flatware set, a Barker Brothers English five-piece sterling tea and coffee set, a William B. Durgin Co. six-piece "Essex" engraved tea service, and several pieces by Gorham. An assortment of rugs will be presented, including a c. 1910 Kashan rug, a late 20th century Bokhara rug, and a c. 1930s painted Sarouk rug.
