Shipping and Handling The Greenhouse Antiques Auctions will pack and ship items at buyers expense. Please contact if you would like to arrange third party shipping. If a client chooses Greenhouse Antiques Auctions to pack and ship, all shipping costs will include the cost of insurance. We ship USPS/ UPS / Fedex. Payment All merchandise must be paid in full within 7 days of the sale date. We do not charge additional fees for credit card payments. Sales Tax Items purchased from Greenhouse Antiques Auctions are subject to all state and local taxes. If a client is tax exempt, all forms must be filed before bidding on an item. Responsibilty It is the bidders responsibility to take shipping/handling and insurance costs into consideration when bidding on items. Bidders picking up items after auction with need to provide an identification card before taking possession of an item. Item liability transfers upon a successful bid. Items must be packed, removed by purchaser and transported at their own risk. If an employee of Greenhouse Antiques Auctions packs and/or transports the merchandise if is fully at the risk and responsibility and expense of the purchaser. Greenhouse Antiques Auctions shall not be held liable for any loss or damage that may be caused by the agent or employee. Terms Placing a bid on any lot offered by Greenhouse Antiques Auction indicates acceptance of the following terms of sale. Any participation in the auction binds you to the agreement of these terms whether or not you have read or understand the said terms. Condition of items: Greenhouse Antiques Auctions makes every effort to accurately describe any item offered for sale. All items are being sold "as is" and it is the bidders responsibility to determine the exact condition of each item. We will not be held responsible for typographical errors. Neither we or the consignor makes any guarantees, warranties or misrepresentation expressed, or implied, in regard to the company or the correctness of the catalog. Greenhouse Antiques Auctions is not responsible for any errors in bids, omissions of bids, or failure to execute bids. Absentee Bids: Greenhouse Antiques Auctions will accept absentee bids if they are pre-authorized. If there are two identical bids on the same item, priority will be given to the first bid received. Bid results: Greenhouse Antiques Auctions will only contact successful bidders. Please allow 24-48 hours post auction to receive your official invoice from Greenhouse Antiques Auctions. Bidders Rights and Responsibilities Buyers are responsible to pay a 20% buyers premium in addition to the purchase price. All shipping costs including required insurance fee will be paid by the bidder/purchaser. If an item remains in our showroom after 30 days. A $10 storage fee will be charged. Once the fees exceed the value of the item, the item is considered abandoned and the auction house has the right to place the item up for auction. All items are "as is" and final sale.
