Thank you for joining us at Auction Life, Inc. It's more than just an auction, it's a lifestyle. Most of the items presented at Auction Life come fresh from estates and collections, and may show signs of age or wear. We do our very best to describe and catalog items accurately, however, cannot be held responsible or liable for ANY errors or omissions in listing or condition. Please inspect photos, ask questions, request information, condition reports, or address any other concerns that you may have PRIOR to bidding. We cannot provide these services during or after the auction. Our Terms & Conditions, in their simplest form, can be summarized in one sentence: Your bid is a binding contract, 25% buyers premium, 7% Florida tax, payment due within 7 days, items must be removed within 7 days (at your expense), items abandoned past 10 days are forfeited, auctioneer has final say, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL*. *If an item is determined to be a forgery (i.e. silverplate instead of Sterling or Lithograph instead of Oil Painting) you must notify us within 20 days after the auction or any such claim will be waived. For more details, see below. 1) REGISTRATION: a) All bidders must register with Auction Life, Inc. prior to being approved. b) Your participation states that fully understand and agree to our terms. c) All lots are sold as is-where is, will all faults and imperfections. d) If you (or an agent) have not researched and inspected the item to your satisfaction, please refrain from bidding. 2) PAYMENT: a) Payment is due withing 7 days of sale by Cash, Check, PayPal Credit Card, Wire Transfer, Cashiers Check or Money Order. b) Invoices left unpaid for 10 days, without prior payment arrangements, will be forfeited and accounts of which will be placed in dispute. c) Florida Tax of 7% will be added to the invoice total of hammer price + buyer's premium. d) Dealers must submit valid Florida Tax Certificates when registering to bid, in order to be tax exempt. Please note: Florida has no arrangement with any other jurisdiction and we cannot honor a Sales Tax number from any other state. e) We reserve the right to hold items for payment clearance up to 10 days after payment is received. f) Credit cards will not be accepted for international invoices (except through Paypal or Liveauctioneers payment system). g) All invoices over $3000 must be paid by wire transfer, money order, cashiers check, or bank draft. 3) SHIPPING: a) We will do our best to offer in-house shipping for small, unbreakable items- at our sole discretion. Items eligible for in-house shipping will have the shipping cost in the listing (plus necessary insurance, if the value is more than the included $50 insurance). b) Buyers of items listed as "THIRD PARTY SHIPPER REQUIRED" must complete and submit a shipping release form, listing your selected shipper/courier/agent, within 7 days after auction. We are happy to recommend local shippers that we work with frequently. c) We are not responsible or liable for items once turned over to the shipping company/agent/courier. 4) AUCTIONEER: a) Auctioneer has the final say and will determine the outcome of any tied bids or other bidding dispute- without bias. b) Auctioneer has sole discretion to withdraw a lot or "pass" a lot if it does not reach it's consignors reserve. c) Auctioneer has the right to accept in-house bids first, be it in person, telephone or absentee bidders, before internet bids. d) Auctioneer has the right to bid on the consignors behalf to protect their reserve. 5) ITEMS FOR SALE: a) Auctioneer & Auction House assumes no responsibility, liability, or risk for any parameter of any lot, ever. b) Absence of condition statement in description does not imply that the item is in perfect condition. c) By bidding you agree that you have inspected the piece in person, or had an agent inspect the piece to your satisfaction. d) We are happy to provide condition reports as a courtesy but cannot be held liable for the information within.
